Dr Katherine Nguyen

BMed MD MPH FRACP

Dr Katherine Nguyen is a Specialist Rheumatologist with a strong belief in wholistic, evidence-based care.

She completed her Medical degree at the University of New South Wales in 2015, and her Rheumatology training at Concord Hospital, Liverpool Hospital and the Prince of Wales Hospital. Her Basic Physician Training was completed at the Royal North Shore Hospital. She also holds a Master of Public Health.

Dr Nguyen treats all Rheumatological conditions and has special interest in inflammatory and autoimmune conditions, such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, as well as Adolescent and Young Adult Transitional Care Rheumatology. She strives to deliver compassionate care, using a shared care model with other medical specialists and providers.

Dr Nguyen has a keen interest in teaching and is a Conjoint Lecturer with the University of New South Wales at the Prince of Wales Hospital.

In her spare time, Dr Nguyen enjoys spending time with her young family, reading and hiking.
